The main purpose of our hospital is to provide modern, needs-based medical care to the population. The staff at Bezirkskrankenhaus Schwaz and the attached nursing school ensure that we do so. EU Insurance Agreement
To bill your health insurance company directly, we need a copy of your European Health Insurance Card or, if you do not have one, an E111 form. Please note that a deductible is payable for in-patient treatment in Austria, which is not covered by health insurance companies. An invoice will be sent to your address or you can pay directly on discharge.
For invoicing with private insurance, travel insurance etc. we need written confirmation from your insurance firm that it will cover the costs. If we do not have confirmation, we will send the invoice to your address.

International invoicing
For patients with residences outside the EU, we need written confirmation that your insurance firm will cover the costs for invoicing. If we do not have confirmation, we will send the invoice to your address.
